Famous for the production of paper since 1400, the Valley offers wonderfull landscapes thanks to the great variety of vegetation. This is the reason why it is the ideal place to go hiking and walking. You can also visit the Paper Museum, which traces the history of paper production, printing and the book, from the Middle Ages to the 1900.
Recently restored, the Roman villa is located between the Church of St. Peter and Paul and the paper mill in Toscolano. Built around the second century AD, most probably belonged to Nonii, one of the most prestigious families of Brescia and is today one of the most important buildings of Roman age of Lake Garda.
